Classification of plastic decoration

There are two ways to decorate plastic products: one is to process it into a mold and then process it during molding, and the other is to process it after molding.

mold processing

blast	Abrasive material such as sand is sprayed on the mold product part with compressed air or the like to form unevenness.
Grain	A pattern layer is applied to the mold product and immersed in a corrosive solution.The pattern portion is protected and is not corroded, and unevenness is formed.
彫刻	Concave and convex portions are formed by performing electric discharge machining or cutting directly with a blade on the mold product.

Processing during molding

Molding is performed by sandwiching the designed film in the mold, and the film is integrated with the surface of the molded product by the heat of the molten resin.

Post-processing

Screen printing	The ink is extruded from the screen mesh and printed one color at a time.
water transfer	Floating the film with the design on the surface of the water, the product is immersed, and the design is transferred to the product by water pressure.
Thermal transfer	The film with the design is thermally crimped to the product, and the design is transferred to the product.
plating	After the resin surface is plated with a conductive metal by electroless plating, the surface is plated by electrolytic plating.
